Rock Climbing | The Stronghold Gym

As a member of the club, you'll have many opportunities to try, learn, and advance your skills in hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, skiing, surfing, Parkour, rafting, fly fishing, 1st aid, environmental stewardship, camping, and more.


Below are lists of hikes we'll achieve together and places we'll camp and explore in the years to come.  New hikes and camping trips will likely be added over the years. Suggestions are welcome.

Providing an environment, leadership, instruction, and excursions for parents and kids 5-12 years old with the mission to have fun, fostering a love of the outdoors, bonding with family and friends, building teamwork, outdoor leadership skills, exploration of our SW Regional public lands, and building strength, agility, endurance, a positive attitude, and mental fortitude in all who participate.

The Jr. Adventure Club is run 100% by volunteer parents. We request a contribution of $60/year per parent and child to cover expenses related to securing group campgrounds for camping trips, achievement badges for all our hikes, and group communication tools such as this website and Meet Up. You're welcome to join a hike or attend an event free to check it out.


There may be additional costs related to equipment rental or instruction for certain activities. All activities are optional, and any additional prices will be clearly stated in the event invitation and description. This is an informal club, so please participate to the extent you're able and interested. We're here to have fun and share great adventures!
